Frequently Asked Questions
How much do these camps cost?
We are excited to expand our winter and summer offering of camps to players in Ohio, Kentucky and Mexico this year. To cover the cost of facility rentals, along with travel fees, incidental costs, and expenses to bring the international directors and coaches, the Global SC camps will be $350 per player.
When and where are the camps?
The Global SC camps take place locally and internationally.
Please be sure to note your camp logistics when that information is made available. Due to limited availability, players will not be permitted to attend unregistered to a camp.
Who is running the camps?
Every Camp will feature professionally licensed coaches with the highest distinction. These are true ID opportunities offered through our Global SC partnerships.
What is the camp agenda?
After campers are registered, each camp day will include an activation warm-up, followed by individual, small and large group instruction.
Are parents allowed to stay and watch the camps?
Parents are welcome to stay and watch on the periphery. Parents and non-staff personnel will not be allowed on the playing surface during the camp hours.
What should players bring?
We encourage parents to dress their soccer players accordingly. The camps will be outdoors, so please check the weather before coming out to the fields. We also recommend that players wear shin guards and protective gear, as needed. There may/may not be concession stands at the camps, so each player should bring their own water/sports beverages.
Is there a waitlist if the camp is sold out?
Even though there will be staff available to assist, it is our camp policy to keep the player-coach ratio at a reasonable number. Due to limited space, we may close registration. We will begin a waiting pool thereafter. The registration window will close when a camp is full. Players in the waiting pool will be notified if they are accepted. Parents will not be charged until a player is accepted.
What is the refund policy?
Refund requests made one week (seven days) prior to the start of the Winter Camp are eligible to receive a full refund of the amount paid to the camp. Requests made after that period will not be eligible for any refunds.
