This past weekend, our Global SC clients had the distinct opportunity to interview Niko Bungert, a former professional soccer player who had 198 appearances in the Bundesliga for 1. FSV Mainz 05 and was a youth national team player for Germany. Niko currently serves as an ambassador for Mainz 05. Our players were able to ask questions about match preparation, daily routines, nutrition and what it was like to go up against Robert Leewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Niko also candidly discussed focusing on the mental aspect of the game and the need for players to learn from their mistakes, rather than dwelling on them.
